Hello to diabetes.co.uk

I am new here and hope to gain some knowledge from fellow forum users and share my own knowledge and experiences where I can.

I am a Type 1 diabetic of 14 years, I currently use a Medtronic pump and have fought to get this through the NHS with lots of barriers on the way so I would glad fully share any help with this.

I work for myself so my lifestyle is erratic but I manage my control quite well.

I suppose my objective here like many others is not only to share my own experiences but gain a better knowledge of my own control and educate fellow diabetics

Hi Gareth and welcome to the forum. You will find a lot of people with a lot of knowledge on a myriad of subjects here - just do a search. We will be glad to hear about your experiences too and benefit from your knowledge. There are some very experienced pumpers on here too who can help you with information about dealing with the NHS as they have been through, or are going through, the same thing themselves.
