I'm a 41 year old man. I live in Swansea and I have been insulin dependent since I was about 20. I have been using an insulin pump for 7 years now and I thought it was time to broaden my horizons and meet others with similar problems as myself.

I have lurked here for a short while but thought was time to say hi lol.

Hi John! I have had Type 1 for 28 yrs and I too have only recently discovered this forum... I find it so interesting having always kept my diabetes 'close to my chest' and not really knowing anyone else with Diabetes before... I also have a pump for about 5 years and love it... can't imagine being without it now.... good to hear from you
