So at 4.45 today I was 4.8 I had 4 sausages that are 1.4g of carbs for 2.
3 hours later I’m
Still a 6.
Does that mean my sugars went too high? Such low carbs shouldn’t should it?
Not worried just didn’t expect it to be that high.

You’ve just come off your meds? I think you might find it takes a while to adapt.. also 6 ain’t bad...

Oh I know I just wondered whether if I was 6 3 hours after whether it meant I’d gone too high

Just over 1mmol higher, still only 6 and days after meds stopped. I’d be ecstatic

Don’t forget other things than food have an effect sometimes

I’m always in the 6s+ after a meal yet my Hba1c is 36 for over a year. I’d be happy with your readings. Sounds good to me.

what numbers are you aiming for? what is your goal?

Just keeping as low as possible. I’d been in the 4s a lot of the day but didn’t expect those sausages to go as high not after 3 hours. Just thought if still at 6 they must have been considerably higher at 2 hours.

But if it’s fine that’s good

Non diabetics have blood sugars ranging between 4 and 7 …. 6 is normal :). Congratulations.
