Type 2 Highest levels ever but not ate anything

It sounds to me like your liver is dumping glucose all morning because it believes you are starving, and is trying to keep your energy levels up. Instead of the black tea (or in addition to it) have a bit of something fatty for breakfast. A coffee with cream may do the trick, or some cheese, or something eggy.
I totally agree with @Bluetit1802 @Peadair O Brionn.
Stress of getting ready or anything physical when your fasting is cured by the liver.
No liver, no metabolism.

The liver is like a U bend and refills from carbs or protein in carb's absence. Only fat doesn't refuel the liver.
Fatty liver isn't caused by fat but carbs.

Thanks for all the replies and very helpful advice I’ve gone back to a nice 5.5 by 20:00 / 2hrs after dinner . And woke this morning at 6.3 and had done bacon and eggs . Before leaving house . Ran out of test strips so can’t test again till pre dinner but should be ok VLC lunch to come

Some people find dawn phenomenon is exended by not eating in the morning - the BG keeps going up until they eat something. Doesn't have to be a huge meal, just something to stop the continued rise.

Yeah gonna try and eat every morn now . Just an egg and some bacon . Thanks

What is the significane of 5.7 ? I had thought from other posts that 7.8 was the threshold for possible complications.
We are all different. And its mainly due to your genetic disposition with regards to your exposure to long-term complications. Some diabetics will never get any complications when just holding the bg below e.g. 8mmol/L. Others will never get any if holding it below e.g. 10 mmol/L. And the most eye opening case is when you have non-diabetics that actually do get diabetes longterm complications like retina bleedings, kidney problems or similar. As in their case maybe even a bg within 'normal range' still is too much for their organs not to suffer over the years.
What studies have repeatedly shown is the generic conclusion: The lower in average you keep your bg, the lower in average you will experience complications over time. But nothing is for certain and there is no hard bg number that will dictate if you will get complications or not.

But other studies have shown that high inslin usage also leads to long term complications........

Strangely enough I'm having surprisingly improved bgs by no basal and just correcting bolus insulin.
I was using 92units of triple strength basal but 3days now injected basal insulin free.

Ive also stopped Soya based slow acting reliever asthma inhaler too. (for my thyroid).

Not very low carbing but protein and iron conscious. Due to anemia and muscle loss.

Walking daily with help of 4 different painkillers. :)

To even out my BG I need to eat first thing and have a small amount of carbs, then I can go all day and eat in the evening.
If I wait until lunch time to eat then my BG rises all morning and on into the afternoon, but by late afternoon I assume my insulin resistance has changed and BG nosedives, along with energy.
I think that only by testing can you sort out just what works for your best results.

Back to both insulins but low carbing. IBS is really giving me yip thou. Palpitations are back.
My fbgs are in 10s, mostly.
Tomorrow I will restart on-rising a liver block instead of fast acting.

A few things need tweeking again. Carbs are my evil but IBS is a new complaint. It interferes with metformin treatment..... too much.

I agree. High circulating insulin appears to be more of a problem than medium-high glucose levels.

Only when I had constant insulin in my system (injected) did I lose weight. M3 x3 daily. Separate insulins are not supporting my weight loss.
I had Humulin M3 which is 70/30 thats 70% isophane and 30% soluble. I took 3 times a day so had constant insulin in my system. My bgs were brilliant and I lost weight easily. I love it.
