I totally agree with @Bluetit1802 @Peadair O Brionn. It sounds to me like your liver is dumping glucose all morning because it believes you are starving, and is trying to keep your energy levels up. Instead of the black tea (or in addition to it) have a bit of something fatty for breakfast. A coffee with cream may do the trick, or some cheese, or something eggy.
Yeah gonna try and eat every morn now . Just an egg and some bacon . ThanksSome people find dawn phenomenon is exended by not eating in the morning - the BG keeps going up until they eat something. Doesn't have to be a huge meal, just something to stop the continued rise.
We are all different. And its mainly due to your genetic disposition with regards to your exposure to long-term complications. Some diabetics will never get any complications when just holding the bg below e.g. 8mmol/L. Others will never get any if holding it below e.g. 10 mmol/L. And the most eye opening case is when you have non-diabetics that actually do get diabetes longterm complications like retina bleedings, kidney problems or similar. As in their case maybe even a bg within 'normal range' still is too much for their organs not to suffer over the years. What is the significane of 5.7 ? I had thought from other posts that 7.8 was the threshold for possible complications.
But other studies have shown that high inslin usage also leads to long term complications........
Only when I had constant insulin in my system (injected) did I lose weight. M3 x3 daily. Separate insulins are not supporting my weight loss.I agree. High circulating insulin appears to be more of a problem than medium-high glucose levels.
