As a newbie T2 I find this thread interesting to compare myself to, as I am still trying to work it all out - expectations, targets etc. So today low was 4.9 before my evening meal and high was 7.2 2 hours afterwards. Waking was 6.7.

I usually manage both waking and post-dinner figures a little lower, but have had spikes of up to 11 after eating a little.....lot....badly when first starting a month ago. Average waking 6.2, average before lunch 5.0, average before dinner 5.7 and 2 hours afterwards 7.9 (average ruined really by 3 high measurements), , all over over a month. Not really sure if these numbers are OK ish or not?

@New Haven Neil Your figures are much like mine. They are OK ish, perhaps could be better with more tweaking - as could mine.
You have done well to avoid the spikes you were getting a month ago. This is where having a bg meter helps in finding out which foods spike you so you can limit or avoid them.

Waking 5.9, before dinner 6.2. Absolutely identical meals a few days before produced 5.6. Ah well!
