Hi - any low-carbers have any views on/experience with the above? Looks to be around 10g carbs per slice, around half the carbs of normal Hovis granary bread, but it's still carbs. I do miss my sandwiches so quite fancy trying it, I wondered what others thought

The Hovis Lower Carb Deliciously Seeded is 9.8g per slice, I like it, doesn't spike me.

I eat very little bread these days, but if I do, like @Boo1979 I have HiLo, the slices are small, but enough to get rid of the occasional bread craving.

I have had hovis Nimble 10g per slice & it spikes me so I have thrown that out of the window & no longer have bread in the cupboard

I would recommend “Lidl High Protein Roll” instead. They are triangular in shape.

It’s 9.6g per roll and it’s filling!

Test before eating and 2 hours after!

My experience with Lidl High Protein Roll with corned beef and salad was:

Bg before: 5.0
2 hours after: 5.5

Very little spike!

A lot have Bergen Linseed and Soya bread one of the lowest in carbs

I just bought that Hi Lo bread, so am trying out tomorrow. I need something to put my scrambled eggs on...!

I can eat Hovis low carb and Tesco’s high protein bread both about 10g per slice. One slice is plenty especially toasted with scrambled or poached eggs. I also put plenty of filling in so it fills me up. Call me a heretic but I do not like the Lidl rolls at all!!
