Hello I have been diagnosed with type diabetes does anyone know how I can get best blood sugar levels. And better results on controlling spikes and hypos
As a type 2, although it's possible to get hypo's, it's not as much of an issue as it is for type 1's. Metformin doesn't usually cause hypo's anyway. Paying attention to diet, cutting carbohydrates as well as obvious sugars can help tremendously with control.
I couldn't answer your poll as it's not applicable, I have never been advised not given info on spikes or hypos.
What are your blood test results like? Are they in range or do they go too high?
If you write a typical day of blood test results and what you've eaten, then that might help people give you advice. Eg you mentioned spikes. How high do you spike?
