How old is everyone

I’m 35 have now had diabetes longer than I haven’t. Diagnosed at 17.

Kicking back and starting to win my battle. Thanks to dr Bernstein’s approach and the lovely people on this forum.

About to achieve my best HbA1c around 4.8-5% never had it below 6.5%

It’s been an eye opener. LCHP.. don’t understand everyone eating loads of fat to offset what’s being digested. Surely eating the right carbs and protein is enough.

This 24th April I will celebrate my 44 Years Anniversary with Diabetes Type 1 by doing something exciting and crazy!
And I was diagnosed when I was 10, so now you can do the math. ;)

Enjoy everyday in your life everybody - We all deserve it!

I am 43 have been diagnosed for 2 and half years with type 1, dad died very suddenly in April 2017 and husband has been told he is dying, but hanging on in there
Wishing you all the very best

I'm blushing now. Thank you. :)
I agree too! 64 currently (finally get my pension this year - yay). Diagnosed Type II January 2008 and I still remember the horrid Doctor on my first hospital diabetic clinic. Was so relieved to be allowed to attend GPs clinic instead. At least they are human and let you do your own thing so long as you are under control.
