How to tag a member?

Hi I was wondering if you knew how to tag/follow peaple

If you type their name with @ at the beginning they will be notified of the tag. @Badboydavey1 <<<<< just like that.

To follow, click on their profile picture and then click 'follow'.

Yup didn't work

I click the profile picture but all what happens is the picture enlarges there is no follow button

If you hover over your own name @Badboydavey1, (it is at the top of the page) you will see two columns appear. On the right hand side one of the titles is "People you follow". Click that and then you can add people to it.

What if I just want to respond to someone's post with their name in it and not necessarily follow them?

You might try another browser, I find quite a few things don't work in Google Chrome, but do in MS IE. In MSIE, this happens:

I think you left a space after the @ above. Try without the space @Kristin251

No, I'm on an iPad (using Safari not the forum app)
Click on my name under my pic and a little box will open. You should then see Follow there in small red writing second from the right.

You don't have to follow me - just using myself as an example!

There is if you hit the three dots at the top right and then select webview. Hope it works for you (and I'm not talking nonsense!).

Often you don't have to type every letter of the name as after 3 or 4 letters a tiny drop down list appears and you can click on the person's name there (be careful you get the right one - it's tiny). You can see this if you try tagging yourself @Kristin251 As you type the letters of your name the list will change and narrow down who you want to tag.
