hypo and vomiting

sorry not nice but i am being sick alot atm and have just hypoed and want to go to bed. anyone knwo the best way to deal with this? droped quite fast drinking OJ and going suck some swwets to get it up but i need to sleep

small sips of lucozade for the next 15-20 minutes , test , set an alarm for 2am . test again
and try and sleep between now and then

Yes, Lucozade or regular Coke is best. I've had some nasty viruses that caused vomiting and found tiny sips of either of those helped.

Unfortunately, when you're diabetic you can't just sleep illnesses off. Keep your meter by your bed along with Coke or Lucozade and set alarms to test as often as you need.

Orange juice is one of the worst to drink when vomiting. The acid in it can make you vomit more. Can also damage stomach lining on empty stomach and oesophagus lining when vomited back up.

thank you so much for the advice! was up all night but sugars stberlised now. feeling a little better as well now i hgave had some sleep
