Type 2 Hypo kit

Glucotabs - easy to carry around, easy to "carb count" portion size, clearly not sweets so others are not tempted to eat them and, when you buy in bulk online, not stupidly expensive.

I don't like glucotabs...
If I get to eat extra sugar, I want to enjoy it!
I carry:
- star burst fruit chews (4.5g of sugar)
- snakes (10g of sugar)
- skittles (1g each)

I keep mini cans of lemonade in the car.

I do also carry a 20g glucose glucogel sachet for really more emergency situations

A biscuit, then a low carb meal fifteen minutes after.
But, I haven't had to do this for over three years because control is better than having hypos!

Sugar cubes or aldi dark cherry and chilli choc bars! Always kept in fridge. I dont eat any other treats so I readily welcome eating a sq of this or however many I need. The whole bar is only 16g.

I never go ANYWHERE without....

-'Rich Tea' Biscuits Or A Slow-Acting Carb

-Glucogel In Case Of An Emergency

Btw you just need to find a sugary substance that suits you. Some people like lucozade, some people like jelly babies. However, I like gluco tabs because they're small, yummy, and easy to carry round!
