Hi. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in September and my doctor has put me on Gliclazide 160 mg in the morning. My BG levels were in the high teens when I was put on the medication. I now have a problem with hypos. I have been checking my levels before and after meals to see how my diabetes is reacting to the foods I eat (I have a restricted diet due to other health problems) and have had quite a few readings between 2.3 and 4, but, I have had no symptoms of a hypo. I am going to see my doctor next week but was wondering if this was normal and if not what should I do?
