Ice cream.

I will try that thank you. X

Yes you are all helping me loads thank you. Think I hit funny ikon on your post - obviously not funny / I’m finding my way around here sorry. Thanks for your help. X
No problem :) Come and chat when you wish.
Goodnight from a very tired type 2 :D x

Thank you. I didn’t realise we could have bacon and sausages (just assumed no even if grilled) that’s a luxury breakfast. How many carbs should I stick to? X
With sausages try and get the highest meat content one's that you can.. most brands have a 97% pork sausage which will be better blood sugar wise than anything with more filler. Check the label on the back.

I see. Thank you.

Grenade do ice creams now which are really tasty. They sell them in tesco.

Thank you. I’m going shopping once out of shower.

I have found that if I split a tub of Lidl premier chocolate ice-cream into 8 equal amounts and serve with double cream it only raises my bgs a small amount. Ice-cream is my line in the sand - I can happily avoid all the rest but a life without ice-cream is not a life I wish to live. Portion control is key.
PS to whomever it was that mentioned Beth's Low Carb Creations re fudge - thank you. I think they are more truly LC fat-bombs than fudge but adds in something different to the food plan. To the OP I also like the Torras No added Sugar chocolates from Amazon.

I like our new SuNuman- great attitude and friendly: of course the posters here are giving a ton of tips. Could someone smarter than me provide the link to JoKalBeeks wonderful blog about nutrition? I feel like that would really set her on the right track.

I agree. ice cream with strawberries is my fav but I am willing to swap for double cream - which seems nuts that that is better for me. Thank you all so much. X

hi. Gonna try that after dinner. Fab. X

An icecream maker is only about £20 these days, so it is really easy to make low carb icecreams, sorbets etc. and they are delicious.
Sounds good. Thank you.
