Hi everyone,
I’m new to this, only 3 week diagnosed and have only checked my bg once out of curiosity as I am on on half my dose of metformin yet. It was 8.0 pre breakfast and went to 10.4 after breakfast. I only had 2 slices of bread with natural peanut butter. Brown bread too.
Could anybody please give me ideas on a healthy breakfast without the carbs. I have been having shredded wheat with skimmed milk and blueberries thinking it was healthy only to find its full of carbs.
I feel really confused about what to eat. Feel like giving up.
