I'm not hungry, how to make myself eat?

I found that attempting to eat when expected to made me feel resentful and unwilling to eat - similarly to go to bed and lie awake, just because it is a certain time of night also caused more problems than it solved. Metformin put me off eating when I tried taking it early in the day, but as I had only to take one I tried taking it later and it was not so bad.
Rather than meals I'd suggest a snack, anything low carb, a couple of times a day, and waiting to see if things resolve themselves.
