Does anyone find having an infection lowers their blood sugar?
I've been dealing with high blood sugar despite no dietary or lifestyle changes all year. I eat 15-30g of carbs a day and do OMAD and none of that has changed. I did start taking a medication called Skyrizi but speaking to other diabetics taking it and my doctors nobody else has experienced their blood sugar levels rising from it. In the last week I was diagnosed with a pretty bad UTI (which can be a side effect of Skyrizi) and one thing I noticed is my blood sugars suddenly were in perfect range starting a few days before symptoms. Now after several days taking antibiotics my sugar levels are creeping back up to where they have been all year. This seems to be the opposite of what we're told happens so I just wondered if anyone ever experienced this.
