Hi all, I am considering a tattoo on my anniversary. I'm not certain yet, but I feel I want to mark the day in some way. I know tattoo's divide opinion, but wondered if you know if any good quotes, for example 'what doesn't kill you makes you stronger' :) thanks x

lol no i wasnt making one :) ive been looking myself for a good idea for a tattoo to mark a special occasion but im scared i wont like it and regret it forever lol (chicken)

I reckon you're taking your life in your hands getting any word put on your body - as Andy's examples prove! Start talking to any tattooists and they'll tell you some stories to blow your mind. Best to stick with images, I reckon.

I would prefer an image than writing, so it has a meaning to me but isn't so blatant as inking 'F*CK DIABETES' on me!

"Life is for Living" or "Love the Life You Live"
"No Regrets"
Ok I could get reported and banned for this, hoping the mode are grown up with a sense f humour.
"I put up with Pricks all Day"

Opal waiting to be booted.

" Winning isn’t everything, but wanting to win is."

I heard recently of a traveller getting booted out of a country for having a budda tattooed on their arm. The country said it was disrespecting their religion and wouldn't allow them to enter. Worth remembering if you are considering adding religious symbols and ever wanting to travel!

I agree an image looks better it's called body art not body graffiti after all. I have 3 tattoos all mean something to me coz by doing that I can't regret them-so without knowing more I don't think we can advise on what's personal to you but when you got an idea go to a few places and speak to them. Where mine were done I showed them the ideas i wanted and they showed me drawings of the design they came up with-don't accept anybody who says they'll freehand ink it on you!
