I have been trying this for three months and have found it difficult as I like to eat out, but I have put in weight instead of losing it and Zi am wondering if it is right for me.
I don’t have sugar I make cloud bread and always have a small salad for tea.
I do have meals out. Normally salad with a couple of potatoes once a Week a roast dinner . I sometimes go 23 hours with nothing to eat and eat for 6 or 8 hours I am just wondering if it is right for me.
Has anyone else any experiences please.

I prefer the term intermittent eating. First coined by Mark Sisson, I believe.

My personal strategy is not to overthink it. I just eat when I'm hungry and eat what I'm hungry for. Works effortlessly for me now that I'm no longer addicted to wheat

Could you maybe not be eating enough? Doesn't sound like you are having much.
Is your body hanging on to every last bit because it thinks you are starving?

As well as quantity of energy intake, persistent hunger may also be a sign that the body is craving micronutrients?

When I'm intermittent fasting I still have to count my calories, and increase my exercise intensity or duration or be more active in general. It's easy to think I can eat as much as I like after going without for 18 hours. I've lost 6 kg in the last month, slow, but permanent, as I feel I will be able to keep it off.

I am not hungry and have bellow 1000 calories but I eat well. I do do a bit of exercise but only standing ones can’t get on the floor through bad legs. How do I keep carbs at 20 to lose weight.

There's your problem.. you aren't eating enough and your body thinks you are starving so will hold on to every ounce it can and regain whenever possible.

Eat more meat, fish and other "zero" carb foods.
But where can I get information on all zero carb foods as I only thought and fish meat is only zero carbs, would appreciate your help please.

Any meat, fish, seafood will be virtually zero. A lot of green veg are almost zero.

I took your advice and have tried today to follow your information
I had a salad with coleslaw and chicken breast two plain coffees

For evening meal 60 grams of ham
Salad with 5 baby plum tomatoes and a boiled egg Spinach and Basil
My carbs are 28 and my calories are 679
I don’t have breakfast as I stop eating at 7.30 and eat at between 16 and 18 hours. I just can’t seem to get my calories higher. I even added 40 grams of flaked Almonds but this is the calories What am I doing wrong.

If you want to add a ton of calories and don't mind eating nuts, then try macadamias. Extremely energy dense. They're also relatively low in oxalate, unlike almonds. Unfortunately they're also expensive.

Also replace chicken breast with chicken thighs, as they are fattier and tastier.

If you eat dairy you could try adding bacon mushrooms and cream to that chicken. Fry the lardons and mushrooms in a small amount of butter. Add in cream and let it thicken naturally. Pop on top of roasted chicken thighs. Yum!

MCT oil in my coffee each morning helps me feel satiated till around midday and i have my last meal of the day between 4 and 5pm

Chuck in a 500g rib eye steak? That would be about an extra 1250 cals great fat to protein ratio too.

Be careful with the coleslaw, if you're buying it. A lot of commercial prepped coleslaw has quite a bit of added sugar, I really like coleslaw but have excluded it unless I have time to make my own.

Thank you all so much for your help xx
