Hi,Hi there my name is Stuart Dixon. I'm 44 years of age. I have been diagnosed with prediabetes, and am determined to control my sugar levels in whatever I can.
If you are Type1 diabetic, you living/eating/taking care of yourself differently would not have prevented Type1. Thankfully, we have insulin to cope with itmy diabetes could have been avoided.

I understand that, like I stated I was diagnosed with type 2 in 2015. I was 45 then. After both my brother and mom passed away, 3 months apart back in 2018; the depression and anxiety were really bad, and I got to a point that I didn't care. Then 2021 is when I was first hospitalized with DKA-non-comatose. That got me back on the right path. Then life became, well life, just different stresses. Then early February is when I was hospitalized the second time for the same thing. That is when it became apparent that there was too much damage done to my pancreas, and I was diagnosed as type 1.If you are Type1 diabetic, you living/eating/taking care of yourself differently would not have prevented Type1. Thankfully, we have insulin to cope with it
