Better late than never. A big well done and welcome to the forumHello, I'm new to the forum. I was first diagnosed as type 2 at least 10 years ago and spent that time since trying to run away from it. Now I'm finally facing up to it. I found this forum only last week, when I started trying to lose weight and started to monitor my blood sugar. What a revelation the forum has been! I'm trying to stick to low carbs and there is so much information here, it's great. I've lost 6 pounds in a week and my blood sugar readings are going down. A couple of times I've even been below 8! Thanks to everyone on here, I've learnt more in 7 days than in the last 10 years.
Hi Jo and well done on the weight loss and getting your BS levels down. How did you manage all that time before coming on here? I found this site almost straight away and started reading the posts. I was amazed at all the information made available by other Diabetics and with stories of success. I was diagnosed in Nov 2014, came on here and have been learning something new ever since.Hello, I'm new to the forum.
