Hello, I'm here for my friend. I'm desperate to help him, so I'll introduce him to you.
Mark Riggins is 31 years old and a new father from Arkansas.
He's not openly religious but he has virtue. Best words to describe him would be Stubborn and Narrow Minded, but I love him very much. He used to have a dog named Raja and gave me two kittens, Precious and Mister. Apple all the way.
Once upon a time he played football, he still watches it sometimes.
His temper can be very scary at times, almost violent... Multiple tattoos primarily on his arms but he has my name on the left side of his chest His favorite genres would be rap and country, he's quite fond of the band perry and drake.
I wouldnt even have a guess to his favorite flag although mine (purely for design reasons) is Australia's.
He would live outdoors if his T1 Diabetes weren't so permanent and he loves me and our son Kevin more than anything in the world. He would look rediculous with a fake tan and I don't think he's ever been abroad, but he loves his hometown of South Lake Tahoe.
Alaska State Troopers is his newest annoying addiction. (tv show)
Movies would be Natural Born Killers, Blow, and Two for the Money.
He's not wealthy by a long shot, more like homeless and bunking with me until he can get his health and life under control.
When he's well enough to work, he's a telemarketer for now although he's been a cook most the time I've known him.
He wants to go back to school and get a degree in surveying, or at least go back to driving a forklift.
Mark doesn't like himself much, but he's a great friend/father/man. He's very handsome and smart and would have endless possibilities if only he'd keep up with his health...okay maybe some tattoo removal too
His downfall is his despression, its wearing us both to despair. He refuses to check his glucose levels, and keeps blindly taking dangerous amounts of insulin, before he left to the hospital he took 50 units of R insulin...I've been doing research for days now trying to figure out what I can do to help and prevent farther complications. GERD is starting to get out of control and all signs and symptoms are pointing to him nearing pancreatitis.
Please help me save him. Words of wisdom or encouragement would be more help than you'd know.
Kevin adores him as do I, and being only 19, I don't think I'm ready to be a mother and widow already. He promised me at least a few more years. Our family needs advise and moral support, any guidance will be greatly appreciated. I don't have much imput on the physical toll beyond what I can see and he doesnt say much about it... Will someone please educate me?
