Is this result really so bad?

Thank you for that. When I'm sat there with a very insistent nurse telling me that she is right and I am mis informed then it does make one wonder who/what to believe, and I did feel completely 'on my own' with this. I came away without statins this time but she insists that I am being irresponsible to avoid them should my levels be the same or higher in 6 months :(
When I told my DN there was a correlation between statins and higher BS she told me not to believe everything I read in the Daily Wail - her face was a picture when I told her that I read it from the manufacturers own website!!

I have been on LCHF since probably June of 2017 after being diagnosed T2. I got my A1C down to normal levels, no meds, blood tests good, chol levels good, lost 55 pounds. Then on my last blood test results my A1C went up from 5.5 to 7. Why? I admit, over the summer I did eat two or three things not on Keto, like a very small hot fudge sundae, but that shouldn't have made a difference since it was only the once. Since the season change my mood/stress levels have been very erratic/high. I had my blood work on Sept. 24. My BG readings have been up and down this past month or so, too. I almost forgot, in May I had a bleed and my hemoglobin went from 135 down to 85. Almost low enough for blood transfusions. It's now back up to 134. Scopes showed nothing, except some stomach lining inflammation. I also had bariatric surgery 38 years ago, which might account for the blood loss/inflammation. Could these fluctuations be from the stress and maybe too much cortisol from stress, not to mention the low hemoglobin? It's very frustrating because I'm working at this so this also stresses me out. Any tips would be very much appreciated.

Update on my progress. After much reading this week and many tips for lowering my blood glucose back to normal levels, I decided to try something to give my liver and pancreas a break 'cause I am insulin resistant, meaning my cells are FULL of insulin/sugar. Two meals a day. I ate breakfast yesterday and today, egg/bacon/veggies fried in bacon fat, 1 slice psyllium/flax toast with butter, coffee. I then ate supper around 6 p.m. LCHF and some protein, I even had room for a LC cookie. I believe I wasn't eating enough fat. My fasting blood yesterday was 6.0, today 5.4. Last night before supper my BG was 4.8. It has not been this low since I got sick in May and my mood swings were horrible because the sugar was bouncing around in my blood. I have to say I am feeling much better and not like my insides are going to explode. I need to keep it this low so my A1C will improve in December, however, I do need to maintain my weight and maybe put on about 5 pounds. Thanks everyone.
