My son continues to have the issue. It does beg the question what kind of safety checks were done before the app was released .
I tried the above today and it works!! Whoohoo!!!You need to delete app and reset up again from bought purchased as app been deleted from App Store. You can find from purchases. There is a better message earlier explaining. Your existing sensor will work but all history will be lost. I’ve just done mine and all ok now
Is anyone else having an issue with the app today? I’ve just got a blank screen. I’ve tried off loading the app multiple times. If I delete I don’t think my sensor (which still has 8 days on it) will work and will have to use a fresh on! Can’t get through on helpline as it says office closed
I went in to the App store and went in to purchases and re-downloaded the previous purchase of the Libre App - and it's working!!Is anyone else having an issue with the app today? I’ve seen a picture today on an old post of an Apple Watch on Lock Screen with time & readings shown through shuggah so must be possible (forgot to take a picture & can’t find it again)Just as I feared, changing to a new sensor caused a nightmare! Immediately the 60 minute warmup finished and the sensor started working, it soon showed signal loss and loss of alarms! The only way to get a reading was to scan. Next the signal loss alarm kept going off and I could not get Shuggah to connect to the new sensor. It keept saying ‘scan successful’, then just said, ‘scanning’ and never changed to ‘connected’. Next, I tried deleting the Libre app, which was the new version, and had been working perfectly with my old sensor! I then reloaded the Libre app from my purchases as instructed, but that soon showed signal loss and I was back to square one! Worst of all, after deleting both Libre and Shuggah, and then reloading Libre, it still would not work other than with a scan of the sensor. Currently I have only Shuggah, having loaded it after deleting Libre again, and it is working perfectly. When you download Shuggah and go through the installation, you do get a warning that Bluetooth access for Libre must be denied. Yesterday with the old sensor I did not deny Libre access and yet both Libre and Shuggah worked fine. I have downloaded Libre again and denied Bluetooth access, but of course this just means the app doesn’t work! I’m now very confused and facing a call to Abbott, which I doubt will be of any use, and of course you cannot call until Monday! At least for the moment I just have Shuggah and it’s doing everything I need it to do. However, you can’t just carry on in this situation because at some point, you need Libre in order to fulfil NHS requirements and have data uploaded to LibreView! Anyone else on here in this situation with a new sensor and have any ideas?
As you will probably have seen from earlier posts from me, after a lot of effort I did eventually get both the Libre and Shuggah apps to work perfectly alongside each other. So, at the moment, I am very happy. Shuggah is indeed sending readings every five minutes (an interval I have chosen) to my Garmin smart watch. Libre is also sending alarms to my watch! If only Abbott could make the Libre app send data readings at an interval we choose as notifications to both our phones and watches that would be brilliant and then we wouldn’t need any other app. I can’t speak for anyone else, but having data readings sent to my watch is a massive bonus when driving. While I currently have everything working for me it is a case of: “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!”I’ve seen a picture today on an old post of an Apple Watch on Lock Screen with time & readings shown through shuggah so must be possible (forgot to take a picture & can’t find it again)
i think there is a way to have your current bloods constantly on your garmin watch face... how i am not sure i cant seem to work it out... but hopefully someone with more tech knowledge can work it out. I think would be much more beneficial than the 5 min updates etc.As you will probably have seen from earlier posts from me, after a lot of effort I did eventually get both the Libre and Shuggah apps to work perfectly alongside each other. In the Shuggah app, if you tap on settings, bottom right, you will see one setting labelled, ‘notification interval’. If you tap on this, you can type in an interval, in minutes, of your choosing. While this will not show constantly on the watch, it will come up at the interval you have selected. Personally, more often than every five minutes I find a little bit irritating. I don’t think there’s anything you can do in the settings of the Garmin watch itself, other than how the data displays and in which modes.i think there is a way to have your current bloods constantly on your garmin watch face... how i am not sure i cant seem to work it out... but hopefully someone with more tech knowledge can work it out. Yep, I have!Hi, since the update has everyone else lost the time in range percentage for the rolling 24hrs period which used to show on the Home Screen?
This seems to vindicate what I’ve said in my post at 1:31pm about not daring to download this very latest update to the app. Both Libre and Shuggah continue to work fine for me, so definitely a case of: “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!” You could try deleting the app again and reinstalling it. I can’t be sure that does the trick, but yesterday I deleted and reinstalled it about three times and eventually it worked!Following the Abbott e-mail at midday today, I replaced the version I had (2.10.0.7647) with the latest version on the App Store (2.10.1.7653).
Now the “No need to scan” function no longer works!
I re-programmed the alarm limits (5.0 lower; 9.0 upper) and made sure I saved them. They are correctly listed under the alarm tab.
However the alarm dotted lines do not appear on the daily graph and they do not work at all!
I just dropped to 3.4 while walking the dog despite starting the walk at 6.9 without the alarm sounding.
Just wondering if anyone else is having similar issues…?
I’ m just waiting for my call to Abbott to be answered …..
All the best

That sounds sensible, although I have never heard of anyone being stopped by the police or anyone else and having their readings checked. If I get an alarm while driving, I’ll pull over (not on motorway, leave at the next junction or services) and do a scan after making sure I’ve turned my engine off! This is why I’m so happy that now I have Shuggah I get readings on my smart watch that I can easily and safely check while driving and respond to accordingly.DVLA purposes will you all be scanning before driving or do will you be trusting the readout. i feel to be safe makes sense to do a scan as they may say there is no proof you checked your read out etc.
So the whole original point of the update has now been lost? Again, vindicates my decision to stay with yesterday’s update and not download today’s!Just spoke to Abbott - they confirmed that the latest version of the app does NOT now include the “no need to scan” feature.
You now have to use the symbol on top right of Home Screen (like a WiFi symbol on its side!)
I have also lost the % in range on the Home Screen.
