I love the I'm not fat - just easy to see comment. Yesterday in work, I work in retail and as you know the customer is always right, I was asked when I was due.....( i'm not pregnant ) It was very very cold out but i WAS TOLD i WAS WELL PADDED AND WOULD NOT FEEL IT !! and last but not least a customer asked for" the big girl up the back !!!" I went home after work and felt horrible. Why do peopole feel they need to comment ???????????????

Some people think it is their right to comment on how people look, but they do not consider how that person feels after they have made their rude comment, Who says curvy girls are out of fashion!!!!. In my opinion ladies are not meant to be straight up and down they are meant to have curves xx
 
Have any of you girls ever been described as 'portly'?

Used to be a more genteel way of describing fat blokes with money. Portly men often had stout wives.

The Edwardian and Rubinesque figure was very popular. It's just fashion.
