How much coffee and cream do you take? What size mug / cup? Just wondering as I might give it a go.Sorry to say it's the evening one for meHaving some coffee with cream in a morning fills me up all day, though that could change when I cut out dairy to drop some more fat soon. I had to ease into it though with a 16 hour and then 20 hour fasts over a few weeks before and now it's just routine for me.
Usually a standard sized mug (350ml) with one teaspoon of cream these days. Can up it to two if you're feeling especially hungry. Sometimes Costa does carry double/heavy cream so you could try asking for that. How much coffee and cream do you take? What size mug / cup? Just wondering as I might give it a go.
I asked someone in Costa Coffee if they did bullit proof coffee but he said no but he had requests for coffee with butter.
Okay. Not as much cream as I imagined.Usually a standard sized mug (350ml) with one teaspoon of cream these days. Can up it to two if you're feeling especially hungry. Sometimes Costa does carry double/heavy cream so you could try asking for that.
Okay. Yours is a bit like mine. Though I eat nuts and not potato’s. Overall a similar diet and carbs, and also counting strategy. If I said 100carbs a day then I am possibly over estimating.I no longer count as I can see from my plate what I have and I avoid most of the high carb foods. I don't eat rice or pasta or pastries. I do eat potatoes in very small quantities, and I have half a slice of Burgen bread a day, occasionally a full slice. They are my only sins. I am not a veggie fan and never have been. Sunday dinner is the only time I eat green veg. I do eat tons of mushrooms and some peas. The only fruits I eat are tomatoes (daily), and 2 or 3 strawberries or 6 or 7 raspberries, always with full fat Greek yogurt or cream, but not every day. No puddings or desserts at all other than the berries. No snacks. No nuts. No chocolate.
At the beginning of my journey I dropped my carbs gradually, ending up with about 30g a day. I am probably about the same, maybe 40g at most.
Nice balanceTo be honest I don't really count, I just avoid any carbs as far as possible by choosing the best options. Wine on Friday is the exception which proves the rule
What a hardship LOLNow i'm jealous and been forced to have a zero carb 'Friday' Bushmills to compensate.
...and the ingredients would be?....Week 1 on insulin... I am aiming to keep around 100 gm a day.
As this is all new to me, I intend to read up and experiment as the weeks go by.
I think that at 100 gm a day I should be able to eat well and enjoy some new food stuffs.
I had cauliflower mash over minced beef and a few carrots for tea... Yummy!
I love this mash more than potatoes to be honest.
I started off my new regime with 800 calories a day for 8 weeks then on to LCHF. I do still count calories but mostly out of interest, the carbs are way more important and I try to stick to 20 to 30 max each day. Working well for me and I can see no reason why it wouldn't do the same for you. I wish you success x20 g. I'm currently doing a low carb and low calorie, just until after Easter. I think I'll find it easier once I up my calorie intake and can eat more proteins and fats. After I've had my appointment with my GP and found out what all my blood work says, and whether I'll have to go on medication or insulin that will help me figure out what to do in the longer term. I've got my fingers crossed I won't need medication, and will be able to do a low carb-higher fats and proteins, and alternate day fasting or at least 5:2

...or you could do everything right and need medication and insulin within a few years and die prematurely from the usual yuck type 2 complications
I love coffee. I have a mug of either 'Nescafe gold blend', or 'Kenco Millicano', with one Silver spoon sweetener from their handy dispenser (which I carry everwhere I go) Plus a good glug of double cream. How much coffee and cream do you take?
