"You can't eat that can you?"

" I'm type 1, I can eat anything I want, I just need to throw a bucket of insulin at it"

    From SWMBO
"why don't you just go for your run now?"
"let me explain again exactly how this pump works and the lifespan of insulin in the body"

When I was first diagnosed as type 1 diabetic I used to tell me family I was feeling 'shakey' when I was having a hypo. Now shakey has been coined as a noun 'are you shakey?' 'He's going shakey' haha

When my partner insists on jacking up the central heating and The meat on my bones is falling off, he has the cheek to say, Oh it's you...check your blood ! (never is btw, it's him being a cold blooded reptile) tut.

I seem to have too much energy when I'm either hypo or hyper, so whenever I'm hanging out with my mum and I don't let her get a word in edgeways, she just looks at me and says, "Where's your testing kit?" lol!

I'm just going to shoot up.
Yes but how many carbs in the cough mixture?
How many carbs when you lick a stamp?
How many carbs in strawberry lip gloss?

Partner at me when I'm eating with low sugars - are you having a hypo or have you just got out of prison?
