Just Got my Casual "Oh your blood test showed prediabetes"

Nutritional ketosis is safe and decidedly healthy for type 2's and prediabetics. Ketoacidosis is potentially deadly, and would require a perfect storm of extremely high blood sugars, illness and likely, certain medication you're 100% certainly not on right now, for it to happen in a T2. For a T1 it's something they need to be weary of, yeah, because they don't need an unlikely perfect storm for things to go t*ts up.

Two completely different things, though they might sound the same. You're freaking yourself out when there's no need to. You might want to stop doing that.
Ok thanks. I was reading about ketosis and it mentioned this in the article so I went to read about it and was like ***? Crazy

One thing I’m noticing aside from the sluggishness is also a real difficulty waking up in the morning these past few days. I used to wake up full of energy now I can barely drag myself out of bed

I started taking 1000mg Vitamin C last night....
One gram (1000mg) is the amount of Vitamin C that Dr Malcolm Kendrick recommends per day. I am surprised that you say it caused perspiration when you took it. I increase the amount if I have an infection of any sort. it works for me. I guess that you will find your own dose.

Mods remind all of the Ethos of the forum and in particular, disagreements in the thread, are derailing, and distracting from the purpose. Please be considerate and polite in posts.

I will be consulting with my doctor from now on given the quality of “help” I’ve gotten on here. Best of luck to all

Hey guys, bit of context:

I'm 6 foot tall, 150lb (skinny) male. I work in constriction (8 hours cardio for 5 days a week) and eat a steady diet of oatmeal, beans, sweet potatoes with lots of coconut, olive oils and butter. My diet choices came from Gluten intolerance and wanting to avoid prediabetes (You get what you try to avoid am I right?)
So you can imagine my shock when recent blood tests (taken to determine what discomfort and pain in my legs when sitting, were cause by) apparently showed I have prediabetes.

I'm stunned and confused. Hopefully ya'll can help me manage this and if possible reverse it. Thanks
I am diabetic & sweet potato always raises my levels, I mean really raises them. Also oatmeal does too. It might be that with you, It's the same.
