Hello everyone,

Here's a puzzler for you all.

My OH has been diagnosed T2 for just over 12 months now. He has endured the seemingly obligatory cocktail of diabetic medication - metformin, metformin sr, prochloperazine, betahistine, sitagliptin and now gliclazide, oh and a side order of simvastatin alongside the metformin, how could I forget!

He is regularly testing and showing levels of 11-14, waking up as 9-10, and occasionally getting down to a 7?

My concerns are these, and his by the way, still dizzy, still walking on marshmallows, and still suffering headaches?

Any ideas?

Help!!!!

Hi. Can I ask how old your husband is and whether he is normal or over weight? If young and normal BMI there is always the possibly that the T2 diagnosis needs review. This is unlikely but worth bearing in mind if the sugars don't come down with his current meds and assuming he is having a low-carb diet
