0.40
Second day it has gone up
First was .015
Anyone else think am on way to a dose of it ?!

Woke at 12.8 had breakfast
Just testing now as 3 hours since had one Dex

And took 5 u its
So in right place for now
But this seems to happen at night and through night

So prob best to check after that
As if higher then .... Well I don't know what that means really
All I know is if the stick his dark pink
That pants
If near skin colour then ... Dif not that for last few days

Not sure why your testing for ketones with these readings ? I would only test (and that's if I had strips lol) at 18 mol/l and above.

No point otherwise and a waste of strips..

Good point - had forgotten to say had to dose ajust for last few nights as been
18.9-29.5-19.3
And after these nights two of them did not move even though I did ajust
Been fighting to get it under control
But sticks was told to do if head bangs kidneys hurt
Thirsty
And all of that is going on

anything less than 1.5mmol/l is fine...........


is it a blood ketone test your doing?

Test ketones at 13 mmol/L or above if you feel in any way unwell.

It's hard to give advice on ketone readings because there are at least 3 different measurement scales (units) in use, in addition to the colour scale on urine ketone strips.

Any chance you could say what units the "0.40" is?

Maybe wrongly I am assuming its the blood test ketone, as anything is else is not very helpful to be honest if your looking to accurately manage them.....

Yep...blood test ...am now clear after hard flushing and fighting to get blood back down ....7.9 after a 22 spike ...sees ok at mo but will have keep eye on as still thirsty an head is banging away all week .... Thank u all

Using the standard blood tests that are available, 0.4 is a normal level of ketones in the blood. Anything below 0.6 is normally considered normal. What are you using to test?
