Labour Manifesto. Diabetes.

Well "evidence based policies" is a good start and a toe hold for possible change. Unless it's code for rejecting anything that hasn't been done before and sticking to what they know, right or wrong.

As I said in my earlier post I went to see DN on Wednesday and thank you @KateA it went very well. I am now pill less. I don't even take the blood pressure ones.

Back on topic: I asked DN why I did not get to see the foot fondling nurse this time and was told they were not coping too well since they seem to be in the middle of an epidemic. Twenty new cases of Type 2 last week. I said that I wasn't surprised.

DN kept one eye on my results while prolonging the conversation in the hope I would reveal all my secrets but I was not forthcoming since I didn't need a lecture about not eating fat and having carbs with every meal.

Anyway, I am beginning to wonder if the estimates about undiagnosed diabetics could be a tad low.

Well done @Squire Fulwood, it must feel even better knowing it was your efforts that has caused this. I need to practise my enigmatic smile or else I might dance around the room singing 'told you so, told you so, told you, told you, told you so'
