Hi. I have had my annual review and a dietitian said I have a lack of Vitamin C. As I can't make my mouth work properly when it comes to eating fruit and veg, I have the lack.. I also can't take tablets probably due to the hardness. What fruit is soft as the dietitian says I have to eat fruit every day.

Can you put fruit into a smoothie maker and blend it?

What did the dietian recommend you to do?

What foods can you eat?
I eat a variety but usually it's the same stuff. I usually have things like jacket potato with cheese and beans, peanut butter sandwiches, cheese and onion sandwiches, Ski Mousse (Strawberry), Yoghurt, Slow Roasted Chicken Fridge Raiders, Chicken McNuggets and some more.

i can eat a Creme Egg. I thought as it looked very hard like HUGE easter eggs, I wouldn't be able to eat it. I can eat Creme Eggs. What a surprise. I love creme eggs.:)

guess she said eat all the normal things, but it seems you can´t do that, and the vitamin C is essential for the body´s functions.. so you can try what I suggest and then slowly teach yourself to eat healthy foods..... people that eat only unhealthy foods to the extreeme many times have a very short lifespan.

Eat soft fruits. Start with one and gradually start eating more soft fruits
There are plenty of soft fruits that contain Vitamin C.

A lot of them are pulpy and do not require a great deal of chewing, even oranges, mandarins you can cut the end of a segment and suck the pulp out of it.

I see from your profile that you are 13 years old, so happy b/day for the 7th April.

Sweet peppers are full of vitamin C, among other vitamins and stuff. Grilled peppers might sort your problems. It's a fruit.
Many brassicas are also rich in vitamins. Cabbage has at least as much vitamin C as oranges.

Have you considered L-ascorbic powder ? You can obtain 1 kg packets on a well-known Brazilian-sounding website for about £10. A level teaspoon is roughly 2.5 gms of vitamin C, so 1 kg will last you some time.
I've been taking it like this for a few months.Simply stir in water, and drink. Easy peasy.

Soft fruits like strawberries & blackberries are high in Vit C, but if you don't like fruit & veg and don't want to take the vitamin as a tablet then purchase it as a liquid, most high-street pharmacy chains will sell it or you can look on eBay or Amazon.

Also, I don't have one of them

Perhaps that's something your parents could consider buying if you have issues with fruit and veg?

Most fruit are soft - a ripe pear, melon, ripe mango, grapefruit, raspberries, plums, blueberries, etc

Many people have texture issues to some extent as young people. The trick is to try tiny amounts of new foods on a daily basis. Your palate will change if you persist.
