Ladies ( and gentlemen) what is your favourite perfume/scent ?

When trying a perfume/after shave out - give it a good spray
Let it air dry out ...

Wander around for a good half hour to allow your own body
scent to adjust and set the scent .

This will always happen in the first 20-30mins of time .
Then you will get more of its 'true scent layer' matched to
your own skin scent .

Buy after this time allowance is most best .
As this is how it will truly smell on you . :)
And don't try more than two at a time - you'll just confuse your nose (or as my old mum used to say you'll smell like the bottom of a tart's handbag! - not that I know what that smells like ;))

I still like Estee Lauder Youth Dew, though some find it too much. Others on my dressing table are YSL Paris, YSL Cinema, YSL Opium. I've got half a bottle left of Jovans Frankinsense & Mhyrr. It's lovely but sadly I've not seen it for some years apart from on ebay for £60 a bottle. And half a bottle of Miss Dior in the bedside cabinet. Mr Chris likes Eau Savage and being an old hippy he likes patchouli

Chloe or See by Chloe, Elie Saab intense, D&G L'Imperatrice for ladies.

Hermes, Hugo Boss night, Bleu de Chanel for men.

My faves, anyone like those? Any similar ones I might like to try? I think I may be slightly addicted to fragrances already though and may not need any encouragement!!

Of course one way to try out a perfume/aftershave is chat to the lady on the counter and get her to give you some of those little sample bottles.

I find the more expensive (and strong smelling) aftershaves can give me head aches....I like Blue Stratos, because it has a subtle and pleasant aroma
