Hi,

In my experience looks like your doing well.
just keep an eye on it that the BGs level out a bit & not possibly head further "south."

What time did you inject for the meal?

I would want to understand why blood glucose was so high earlier. Was it something you ate, or is it because of inadequate basal insulin action? 5.8 is about where you want it 2 hours after eating. You may find that a big bolus like that lasts for longer, though. How did you work out that you needed 12 units?

Hi Mark,

@Grumpy Porridge is newly diagnosed. There is debate as to what type. Grumpy is currently awaiting results to determine which.
The set bolus dosage given, was (I believe) instructed by Miss Porridge's HCPs. Hope this helps?
