Leg pain

Nobody on here can or should attempt to diagnose or even suggest whether what you have is or is not diabetes-related. I'd strongly advise you to get a medical view. Yes, there are "diabetic" things that might have an influence, but there are other possible causes as well.

I’m suffering from dreadful pain in my thighs and believe it from my type 2. Can anyone else relate to this
I can see this post is a good year old, but i am curious, what was the outcome?
i've literally just got over suffering from real bad thigh pain, i tried to seek help many a times but i could never get an appointment, thankfully it has eased off now, but went on for a good couple weeks.

The trouble with pain is there are so many causes, even just sleeping awkwardly

The only muscle / large area pain I've ever had that's linked directly to the diabetes had been when my BG has been so high it's off the scale and this can take a few days to go away

Most of the other non exercise pain has been due to medication side effects

Pain that goes away even after days/weeks is not typically diabetes related as damage causes by diabetes is typically non reversible as I say in my case the only time I've had pain is when my BG was over 33.3mmol

Of course we can not advise, only a GP can.. but in my experience unless your so bad you can barely walk, or it's long term then they just tag it as 'leg pain' and advise paracetamol.

In my case I get to the point of chronic pain where I can not walk so they referred for constant appointments to test for vascular disease and it back issues

YOU are the only one that can decide the pain level and how much you feel you need treatment if you can not get into the gp you can try 111 where they can often find a walkin centre appointment

I did go down the 111 route, got given a walk in Centre to call, they never called me back, as i was 22 in the queue at the time and you could set up a call back when you get closer to number 1. I gave up, plodded on, thankfully it subsided after a few weeks, since then i've had my annual review and i have my 6month hospital appointment next week. I did learn via bloods that i have low sodium, that would possibly explain the cramps, i would also be prone to foot cramps **eye roll** one thing after another.

I couldn't weight bare on my left leg from sitting to standing, once i was up and about it was fine, that moment i stopped and sat down, then started all over again. I'm fine now though, that's why i was curious what the OP had, if you google thigh pain, you get told, sprain, strain, injury. :)

The trouble with Dr Google is it only gives some causes but there are many, and as you say even low sodium can cause muscle pain
