So I've started on the Newcastle Diet this morning, thought taht the lond weekend was a good time to start so I've got used to the reduction in calories and some of the possible side effects by the time I go back to work on Monday. I'm using a combination of slimfast shakes and Celebraty Slim Soups so I can have some savoury in me diet, and I've already discovered the the chocolate shake heated is good for breakfast as it feels like you're having hot chocolate.
My starting numbers are:
Weight 17s10
Fasting BG 15.9
Waist Measurement 50"
As I understand it the point of the Newcastle Diet is to reduce viseral fat to increase insulin sensitivity so the most important thing to me will be the BG and waist measurement although the weight loss will be good too.
