Libre 2 Compatible Phones

It would be impossible for Abbott to test compatibility with all models of phones combined with all the versions of operating system.
If you have a phone working well with Libre 2 please add it to the thread. I will make a list when there are enough entries. The OS version is probably in settings / about.
Sony
Xperia XZ1 Compact (G8441)
Android 9

With Libre1 (not tested with Libre2 but likely to work just as well):
Samsung S3 Mini
Samsung J3

With libre2:
Huawei P Smart.

I will make a list when there are enough entries.
I think the easiest way to go about it is to simply edit your first post in this thread to add to the list.

If enough phones are in the list to make this a useful document I'll be happy to see if we can make this a sticky thread.

You may need to be more specific in your testing.

Which app are you referring to?
Only LibreLink or also LibreLinkUp and LibreView?

Which version of this/these apps?
Some people have experienced issues with certain versions, especially with Apple phones.

Which version of Libre 2?
Only EU version or also US?
I don’t know if Australia and New Zealand have a different version.

Why not include the phones that Abbot have already tested and confirmed compatibility in their documentation?
My phone is included on this page.

LibreView isn't an app, as soon as you use LibreLink your data will be stored in LibreView (provided you have at least an occasional internet connection with your phone).

As for which version of the app, when you download the app, you automatically get the latest version, and it will offer you updates, so I think it's safe to assume it's about updated apps.

In the US I think the app was only approved just now.

I agree with adding the phones from the official list :)

I had in mind making a spreadsheet so that I can sort them by make or whatever.

When I make a list I will include the Abbott information but separately. My thinking was that someone using a particular phone with a particular OS in a real world situation would be a more reliable test.

I'm one of those people not even knowing what a spreadsheet is so I'm perfectly happy to have you make it the way you think is most useful :)
Just give us a heads up once the information is easy accessible without going through the whole thread, and there is enough of it to be of use, and we'll have a look into making it a sticky to make it easy to find as well.

My Samsung J3 Worked brilliantly with Libre 1
My Samsung A21s ( O S 11) Works well with Libre 2

But I have to place Phone very Close to Sensor to get it to Read Sensor
