Does anyone know if i can put my glucose levels on my lockscreen on a samsung? I saw some people have their blood levels on their lockscreen but only on an iphone. For context i have a Galaxy A12 and a FreeStyle LibreLink.

Hi,

Welcome to the forum.

It is possible using Android to get BG levels on Lock Screen or even a “widget” for your Home Screen..
But you’d need to download a 3rd party app like Diabox or Juggluco? XDrip is another app that could do this too including a screen saver of your BGs if the phone was on charge..

It’s even possible to get floating BG readings over apps like a browser or sat nav to open too?

Hope this helps..

I didn't know you had to get an app for stuff like that, always thought it was just a built in feature apple had that samsung didnt. Ill go try that now, thanks for the help.

I use an iPhone and the only way I can get glucose readings on my iPhone Home Screen (or Apple Watch) is to use a third party app like Shuggah

Librelink has certain limitations with regards to setting up an at a glance readout?
But it will run happily alongside the aforementioned apps.

Just start your Libre with Librelink first then do the same with the other installed apps & wait the hour.
If you already have a sensor running? It should pick up straight away.. (after a scan with the app.) then go into the 3rd party app’s menu or set phone’s permissions when installed?
You should find the app in the widget list on Home Screen settings.
Some widgets, you can set the background clear so you only see the BG & arrow overlay? :)

Hi @Polska_Gurom and welcome

I have often wondered this and have a galaxy a32 but failed miserably as i'm not very good with tech.

However i work in a school and the IT bloke is a wizard and his step son is type 1 with a cam pump thingy.

I bought a smart g watch 4 for £100 off amazon and he connected the librelinkup app (the one where experts can look at your data !!) to the watch face and bingo.

I look at my watch and there is my BG.

Its like magic when you are a dopey 56 year old caretaker although i am the only one in the building who can operate and understand the heating system...lol

I wish you well

Tony
