Getting old and everything that goes with it. All the repeats on TV. The drongos who ring me up to sell me things. Religious havens for pedophiles and war-mongers.
MY Timeline
  1. I was on 130 units insulin per day
  2. I changed Specialists and he put me on no major carbs diet plus extra veg
  3. Within a week of going on no major carbs diet I was off insulin and onto 4 Metformin tabs (max is 6)
  4. 12 months on I have lost 22 KG and been told not to lose any more weight by my GP
  5. At this point my specialist wanted me to increase carbs (when I can)
  6. I have increased carbs and I am now on 5 Metformin tabs per day (I can get away with 6 inch Subway without going excessively high)
  7. I bought an adult trike for exercise and I bought an electric front wheel booster (they are 2 times as heavy as an ordinary bike)
  8. I use the trike daily for local transport fetch and carry but not specifically as an exercise regime.
  9. I am starting to noticeably tone up my trunk and legs
  10. I am due to see my D Specialist in 3 or 4 weeks.
  11. After the Specialist visit I will have to establish my long term maintenance diet and exercise.
  12. In 2 weeks I have to go n for my Pacemaer review
I expect my long term maintenance diet and exercise will not change much from what I am doing now. My other exercise/activities are lawn bowls 2 or 3 days per week and Men's shed 2 or 3 days per week.

I am interested in all comments and suggestions.
