Hi all, what’s the best low carb bread to go for? (In the uk)
I’m missing bread big time
There’s no true low carb bread, it’s just smaller, thinner slices. Most supermarkets stock it and there are plenty of recipes here. Make sure you test though.
Sliced down the middle and filled with whatever you'd put between the bread slices?
Or you could just eat the steak and be done with it.
I make this one - 2tbsp ground almonds, 1tbsp psyllium husk, 1tsp baking powder, a sprinkle of nutritional yeast, salt and pepper, two beaten eggs. Mix in whatever container you want your bread to be, and microwave for 2 1/2 minutes. It rises quite a lot, and can be sliced when cool. 5g carbs the lot.
I'll link you to this thread too
Cheers man, will have a proper look shortly
Supposed to be fasting today and you just made me hungry. THANKS FOR THAT!
But @Mel dCP has a great recipe and one I did myself when I was craving a little bit of bread @Paulm80
@Caeseji you're shrinking fast!
Soon I shall be one atom thin and able to slip between the realms of reality.
Thank you so much though, thanks to you and everyone else this is happening!
We just pass on what we discovered and I'm very happy that I make a difference.
I’ve ordered some lo dough!
Uh oh, did you read the label?
And the price tag!
Yeah 2.2 grams of carbs per slice? And you can make a whole pizza outta that!
I only ordered 2 pieces at first to try it! Seems the best option out there tho
Do some testing, it's the only way to find out if you can eat it safely and watch out for cravings.
