G'day all,
This is my second similar post. (I apologize for that if it annoys anyone.)

Everyone seems to be doing this hit and miss but in my opinion the structured approach is the easiest.
A) Knock out all the major carbs out of your diet - that gives you a baseline
B) Introduce carbs to find your own tolerance limit
C) Stay within your limit
D) When weight loss changes your carb tolerance limit, then increase your carbs
Extra veg is fine extra protein is not necessary, the object is to get us as close to NORMAL as possible.
BS is all about the carbs not fat HF or LF or anything else but some find it useful for hunger control on extreme lo carb diets..
If you do the above the door opens for a new hobby COOKING and innovative cooking mainly with nut flours and fake sugars. Treat it as fun and you will have fun.
Thanks @donnellysdogs
I have noticed that but others do read these posts looking for guidance too.
I hope it helps someone who is battling to gain control.
I can't find a good simile for this forum and the scatter gun approach (and lots of observations from a sample size of one) but the closest I can get is like having roads without road rules with everyone thinking their way is the best way. But with a structured approach everyone will get to their destination faster and safer.
I've never said my way is the best way.
All I've ever claimed is it's the way that suits me, and lets me balance various aspects of my life that are important to me, in a way that is important to me.
For other people, different things are important, and they achieve the results, and the trade offs, in a way that suits them.
Hello @douglass99
I think you will find we are not all different when it comes BS. It is only carbs that sends us high and we all have a carb tolerance level. Different foods have nothing to do with it nor does our likes and dislikes. Diabetes T2 treats us all the same we just have to find our carb tolerance limit and stay below it.
I know we all like to think we are different.
Sorry @douglas99 I was not referring to you specifically.
I have things that are important to me too but there is nothing more important than my health.
