I’m lucky that they don’t affect my blood sugars, I know unfortunately some people can’t tolerate them. They are one of those products sweetened with Polyols, alcohol sugars (excessive consumption may have a laxative effect :wideyed:) and although they appear to have a high carb count the polyols are generally not absorbed so the number of ‘impact carbs’ are what I count. They are delicious and really feel like a cheat! :hungry::)

I had just ordered two cartons of the raspberry and caramel crunch the previous day. Oh well.

Wow! Mine landed today. I have had a half bar which is sufficient for me, and the box will last longer!

Thanks for posting @Rachox :)

Hi @Rachox i popped into a Tesco on my way home and picked up one of these, when you say you count the impact carbs, do I understand that you use the sugar figure 1.9? I’m tempted to try it but scared by the 24g carbs!

Hmm, chicken breast and half a bar, 2.7 rise. Maybe quarter of a bar tomorrow.

I’ve been going by impact carbs written on the front (in the red circle). Because of the 20 odd grams of carbs cited on the back, the large part is the polyols used in place of sugar for sweetness. Polyols are sugar alcohols that most people don’t absorb, I don’t seem to. You’ll just need to test test test as the saying goes!

My choc and raspberry arrived today too. Have limited myself to just a quarter bar - absolutely gorgeous!!!
Thanks again @Raychox !

Chocolate and raspberry are my absolute favourite, closely followed by the peanut ones :hungry:

Thank you, I figured that was the number you were referring to, I have cut my bar in half, and will do a test to see what happens, “start cautiously” will be my motto.

I think I need to be careful with
I these.

I have gone down from 8.4 at 17.03 to 4.6 at 23,'56.
