I have had a couple of low carb days - well not quite.
Saturday - only 24 g until dinner time. I measured my BG and it was 3.7 before dinner - I had Steak and mixed salad (15.5g carbs) and my BG was 4.6 90 minutes after and 5.9 after 120 mins. I am taking it as good that my BG was still below 6 but perplexed by the over 2 jump in my BG.
Similar situation today (Sunday). 11.5g carbs up until Dinner. Measured my BG 3.9. Had dinner - Omelette with various things - and a small quantity of Pringles (total Carbs - 27g) so my BG jumped to 5.7 after 90 minutes and was 5.4 after 120 minutes. This last one I can kind of understand as the carb intake was almost double of Saturdays.
My question-
On Saturday, even though my BG jumped by over 2, it was still under 6. Is this good? Or is the fact that it jumped by over 2 something to watch?
