I enjoy reading discussion threads, but had hoped that we could now have ones that disagree with the former moderators without calls for banning etc. Not all of us know whether we agree or disagree and like to be able to read stuff other than that controlled by a clique of a select few.
Cheers

PS I sometimes get the feeling that to participate on this site one is expected to take 'sides' and I don't want to do that.

I do not understand the references to my username, we do measure in millymoles or dont we? Thought its a very apt username? Btw I am a 'he'.
I was warned by others via PM that with my post this certain 'clique of a few select members' are paranoid and immediately expect the worst from anyone who dares to post what appears to be slightly risque that they would immediately club together and jump on the defensive. I am told that if ally555 had been online she would have been part of the clique.
Shame on you, surely prejudice has no place in a forum?
Sadly I have witnessed the crucification of sparkles in another thread of this forum, again by the select clique.
What is so strange about my first post? I came in here full force I know I didnt want to pussyfoot around with introduction because frankly I am not all that interesting enough to write about me.

No great surge of energy, but I don't think I'm so exhausted - I've not had to sleep in an afternoon for a week or two now - though I'm still sleeping 12 - 14 hours a night (not healthy sleep though).
I find this blog interesting. There again at the moment I'm reading anything I can regarding low carb, high/low/medium fat - and protein, energy and so on. I've now run through all the books my local library has and am following half a dozen blogs and several different low carb sites. I've stopped cutting the fat off any meat I eat, eat duck - which I avoided because it was too fatty and have stopped worrying about fats.

People who have been banned from here try their upmost to disrupt this forum from afar, always have and always will. Your intention was very clear from your post. Makes you wonder who is really mentally unstable.
The difference between your Master and this forum is that nobody here is condemned for the way they manage their diabetes and there is support here for everyone.

How right I was, ROTFLMBO, what further proof is needed? How significant it was that the select few members had their cages severely rattled. Now guess what I took a wager on it and won!
Increase your fat intake.

I have never joined any other forum, this is new territory for me.
ailz said:How do you eat a low-carb, low-fat diet without reducing your calories to a 'starvation' level of 1200 calories or less.
ailz said:I think I'm lost here. The information in the blog seems to be solid.
