Hi
Just a quick query regarding the use of things like Lucozade Sport (or their light options) to aid recovery from runs.
After my diagnosis (type 2), I took up running to improve my fitness and get my weight down.
Now, just over a year after diagnosis, I am not on medication and have been told I have effectively 'reversed' the condition and will now be reviewed on an annual basis.
As I try to keep things high in sugar content to a minimum where possible, I was wondering what the situation with using these to aid recovery from any my longer runs, of approximately 6 miles or so.
Should I be safe enough with this, or is it a no-no?
