I have to take a packed lunch to work and do like to ring the changes so I'm looking for ideas. Fire away :)

I take a small lunch cooler with ice packs. Today will be a big avocado wedge and cold lamb chop on a small bed of lettuce.

This is my typical lunch but I switch up protein. Tonight I'll have bg salad with mayo on a bed of lettuce and a avocado chunks all mixed up. I do this for lunch too.

Many have tinned fish, chicken thighs, meat and cheese rolled up, yogurt with seeds. I have found some very clean deli turkey, chicken and beef slices. Just organic meat and sea salt. I love smashing avocado in them and rolling it up or putting it on a big piece of lettuce rather than bread

Any above ground veggies you like, some protein of your choice ( most preferable unprocessed) and some healthy fats like avocado, olive oil, some nuts and seeds, olives.

It would help if you gave us an idea of what you take now, and what you like, so that we can make appropriate suggestions.

I will pretty much eat anything, I'm not very fussy luckily.
I take sandwiches of ham, chicken, tuna, salmon, corned beef etc., salads, leftovers e.g chilli, Bolognese, stews, that kind of thing.

When I had to take packed lunch, I would often make a vegetable frittata / crustless quiche for dinner the day before and take a slice of leftovers for lunch with a green salad the next day. Used to vary the veg around, sometimes added bacon, sometimes not

Hi @heh ..
My advice would be to bin the bread and the bolognese .. both much too carby for me .. my "sandwiches" are usually contained in two slices of cheese and/or lettuce
Hope this helps

The bolognese is pasta free and I normally use Burgen or Hovis low carb bread.

Hi heh
I do a Lchf diet and take a pack up every day, today I had tuna with mayo and salad and a boiled egg, also carry a pkt of pork scratchings just in case. Very filling quick and easy to prepare and eat.

Yesterday I had left over meatloaf with homemade coleslaw.

Tomorrow I will probably have Greek yoghurt with nuts and a sprinkle of cinnamon as well as pork scratchings

Just a few ideas, hope this helps. X

@heh - What about a tapas sort of approach? Chicken drummers/thighs, cheese, chipolatas, crispy bacon, cherry tomatoes, nuts, mayo/aioli , prawns, coleslaw, smoked salmon, flaked mackerel, humus; although maybe not all at once. :)

Anything healthy!
I was taking sandwiches to work and a dietician I saw suggested taking porridge pots so that's what I have for lunch now!

For three days - I usually do spinach salads with a goat cheese, olives, fruit - blue berries. I put it in a plastic sealed container and surprisingly the salad keeps me filled throughout the day. I also snack on nuts mid afternoon for those times I start to feel a bit hungry but usually the salad fills me up.
For one day a week a burger - the bun is not good for me but I eat it anyway - usually requires a few extra units of insulin.
For one day a week - A falafel or hummous on flat bread.
Weekends I fast till 7 pm and then I'll have a steak, chicken or pork chops.

I mentioned the non lunch meals also as they are all connected to some extent in regard to healthy nutrition and blood Glucose Control. I find it hard to treat it in isolation. I've never had a weight issue so this seems to work for me.
