I posted a month or so ago about my gp referring me to a neurologist.
I do know the referral has been done because my surgery confirmed this on 6th June. Not sure if it was done that day or whether it was sent prior to this call. So assuming it was sent on the 6th, I realise it's too soon to receive an appointment yet. I understand that.
Also realise when I get the appt, there will be a wait, again I understand that.
The thing that worrying and scaring me, over the past 10 days to a fortnight, my left leg is almost numb to my groin and right leg now numb just above my knee. Also, my hands and parts of my lower arms have pins and needles/numbness. To me this is pretty quick/rapid.
Also finding my bones feel achy.
No idea if this is normal or something to be concerned about.
My walker is a great help and go for a walk everyday and been doing this ever since I got the walker so in my opinion it's not due to a sudden few days walking.
Do other members with bad neuropathy and have seen a neurologist, have or have had this.
