Moving Tresiba Dose Time

I'm a little late to this party and not familiar with Tresiba.
But I still have s thought: if you normally take it in the morning and move it to the evening on the same day, are you not risk of "overdose at night, whilst you are asleep and hypoing when you are less likely to be testing?
Personally, I would rather miss 12 hours (or stagger) .

I’ve staggered. Took my dose at two this afternoon, and I’ll take it at 8pm tomorrow.

Been stubbornly in the high 7s and 8s today, but I don’t know if that’s because yesterday's 8am dose has run out and it doesn’t last even 24 hours for me, or the steroid inhaler I started last week for my newly diagnosed asthma - or just because it’s a warm day and I had a couple of drink last night. Too many variables!
