My hba1c has come back at 124.

My easiest, made ahead breakfast is to mix 10% fat plain Greek style yoghurt with milled seeds and some frozen berries in a bowl on a Sunday night, then eat a fifth of it every day for a week. It gets thicker and thicker as the week goes on. Keep it in the fridge.

Quantities can be to suit you, but I'd start with a 500g tub of yoghurt, 5 tablespoon s of seeds and 5 tablespoons of berries to make 5 portions.
All ingredients available and cheap in lidl or aldi.

It can also do as a dessert. Some people use chia seeds but I prefer milled linseed mixes.
I'm definitely going to try this. Thank you so much. I love bacon and eggs but need some variety. Thanks!!

I make my own mayonnaise. I used to use sunflower oil but since going keto, I make butter mayo. Easy to make, cheaper than the commercial stuff, and you get to control what goes in it.
How do you make this please? X

If you go very low carb (keto), you will find you neither want nor need breakfast. Solves two problems: you don’t need to worry about what to have, and you will have extra time to sort the children out.
I never used to have breakfast, I used to fast til about 1. I've been advised to have breakfast and test 7times a day till bloods are lower. Could I test on waking then leave breakfast and then test before dinner. I'm hoping to do keto if I can. Carbs don't agree with me so far x

I got myself a Bamix - really useful bit of kit, and once you have one it is guaranteed for life. it really helps with processing things quickly.
I have made cheese waffles as a substitute for bread, with the Bamix - if you look up 'chaffles' there are lots of low carb options for them. If diluted down with water or cream they can be made in a frying pan to substitute for wraps.
My blood glucose is more stable if I eat first thing rather than fast or eat only fat and protein. Just 10gm of carb stabilizes things nicely.

Not seen them before. Look great. Will have a look into it. Thanks x

I love my Bamix! Best thing to make mayo. I am going to try chafflewraps - I enjoy chaffles - thanks for the tip.

I have 150ml of kefir which I make myself - cheaper and tastier than shop bought. Quick, easy and keeps my BG from going too high.
