My low carb/IF Diet - BG and progress

It.most probably isnt good for diabetics but when you feel like.**** and you need something to help get you through, stuff it. I had the flu earlier this year and I lived on Strepsils, they werent good for me but they helped. Hope you feel better soon.

I'm broken!!! Ears are killing me now. Dunno if I should go to docs tomorrow or just ride it out. Doubt I'll go to work tomorrow - can barely talk so will be useless in class!

Trying to tidy up but getting nowhere....girls were great til eldest kicked off about being stuck inside the whole weekend. I reminded her that I took them swimming yesterday!

They've got a party at 2 and I plan on finding a sofa to nap on....xxxx

Resist...resist.....unless you have some OPPO in the freezer:)

Just completed my 7 day fast. Results are in on the timeline, replete with photos:)

@KevinPotts

What is oppo Kevin? Also how do I find your timeline? I'm interested in your 7 day results. Did you say you didn't lose weight?

I never knew co-op sold it! That makes things a lot easier....

I know just where to go!

I've been bad. Dosed myself up and went to girls' party. Had planned on excusing myself and finding the nearest sofa but got chatting and caught up with my friends which was nice. Picked a lot at the food - had a few biscuits, crisps and chicken nuggets . That's what happens when you go to a party having not eaten. Regret it now though....

Will be good again from tomorrow. Probably will take a week to get over today's shenanigans but it was a nice afternoon.

I'm shocked! FBG this morning was 7.4. I was expecting it to be a lot higher after yesterday's splurge. Wasn't worth it though

I'm not going to work today and plan on being horizontal for as long as possible.....xx

Good for you. Funny how sometimes we have huge treats...just can't resist,.....and our BG forgives us....slightly:)?

Didn't go to work today and feel much better for it. Will go back tomorrow but try not to speak too much...fasted today too and while I'm of food, I'm planning on missing breakfast and having a light lunch (cucumber and peanut butter). Going to try to get the FBG down quicker by eating less. Mini test as last time 16/8 fasting didn't work for me, but we'll see if anything' changed....x

Cucumber and peanut butter sounds good.
Might try that myself. Hope you feel better soon @Debmcgee

It's really nice! Unfortunately the healthy peanut butter is unsalted as well as unsweetened so needs a bit of salt added. X

Dollop of whipped cream will sort them out. Yum!! X

6.6 this morning after fasting yesterday. Bet it takes a week to come down to low 6s...regretting the splurge now

Ok cheers I will get some. It's nice to have a treat handy for when you feel deprived. I made peanut butter cookies today but they're a bit dry.

Good for you:) Just limit the OPPO to one scoop with a bit of fruit, perhaps berries and you'll be fine:)

I really think the OPPO ice cream is over-rated.
The caramel one was sickly sweet, and the mint choc chip was powdery / grainy. At £4.99 for a small tub, I would in future leave it in the freezer and go and buy the same size tub of fresh cream for less than a quid. Then make my own ice cream with that. Ewelina, a member here has some particularly good recipes.
