My new favourite thing.

Love pork scratchings! They have been my crisps substitute over Christmas :hungry:

Pork scratchings seem very popular, I didn't like them last time I tried them about 10 years ago but I thought they might have changed, so I bought some from Mr Porky and The Real Pork Crackling Co. to try. Although they weren't likely to break my teeth like the ones from years ago, they were both very nasty with a slightly rancid pork fat aftertaste. I can't think of any other normal food that I really don't like, so I am hardly a fussy eater. Seems like I will have to stick with olives, nuts and cheese as a snack.

I found the BBQ a little on the salty side but very nice

Im glad its not just me who gets the taste of rancid fat! I began to think my tastes were off as thay seem so popular
Unsmoked bacon is the only kind of pork I find paletable - Ive really tried to like scratchings but have completely failed!

Rancid fat in a bag!
Waste not want not, do a pulled pork joint, bang the meat wrapper (pig's skin) in the oven after.
Lovely jubbly.
